Busy Girl

My kids got tired of me taking pictures of them so I stole some family members to help me out. These are a few of my favorites.

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas was awesome this year. Having Jake here really helped fill an aching gap that was especially poingant durring Christmas. Usually at Christmas I am so excited I have a hard time sleeping. Not so much this year as the kids got up at 2:30 am!!! I sent them back to bed but they came back in at four saying they were starving and needed breakfast. Then we put them to bed AGAIN. Then they came at got us at 7:30 and we finally caved. It was hard to be mad because they were so excited. This is one of my favorite Christmas pictures. I will call it "Ahhh... Shoes" (that's my girl.) Bryce is the funnest to watch at Christmas because he is equally excited for all his presents, start to finish, toys or clothes. He even got excited about a new tie he got for church. Shaylee graduated to electronic toys (a CD player) but will have carefully edited music for atleast 10 more years. Jacob fit in perfectly and had a great time making all kids of impressive Bat Man sound effects with his new toys.

Ahhh...Shoes

Night over Boise

It is Paxton's birthday tomorrow on Christmas Eve. When people hear that they usually feel sorry for him. But I beg to differ. He never has to work on his birthday, or go to meetings. He always has lots of food and family around. I think he has a pretty good deal! This year his parents bought him a suprise helicopter ride over Boise. It was really cool. I am used to flying but it is really strange to feel a sidways movement instead of just forward. It was cool to get to hang out just above the city and see all the Christmas lights. It was even cooler that the pilot was Paxton's cousin Bryant. The only part that made me nervous was when we made a sharp bank and my body was literally perpendicular to the ground. It is unerving at 3,000 feet. We finished up the evening by going out to dinner. It was an awesome night and Paxton was a very happy boy!

I couldn't figure out the right setting on my camera so I got some pretty strange pictures over the city. In these ones you can pick out the capital building and the Christmas tree on top of the US Bank building. (If they don't make you airsick.)

Loves...

We are adoring Jacob but I am still missing my Colin. Jacob has a very definate place in our family as does Colin still. My heart has grown to encompass Jake but there is still a hole where my little Colin should be. I love my FIVE kids.
